Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed investigations into reported fraudulent activities, employing both traditional methods and innovative techniques specific to the crypto industry

• Identify and analyze patterns that indicate fraudulent behavior, utilizing advanced analytical tools and data analysis techniques

• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in fraud, especially emerging threats within the cryptocurrency market

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine our fraud detection capabilities

• Summarize investigation findings in clear, comprehensive reports

• Make informed decisions based on investigation results and present findings to the relevant stakeholders for further action

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fraud detection or a closely related field, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the cryptocurrency sector
• Knowledge of current and emerging fraud trends in the cryptocurrency industry
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify fraud patterns in complex data sets
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to summarise and present investigation findings effectively
• Decision-making skills with the ability to act swiftly and appropriately in high-pressure situations
