IT Project Manager - Mining

What you'll do

• Set up the project team and create a detailed project plan based on the project charter, encompassing scope, budget, resources, timeline, and deliverables
• Conduct ongoing project controlling and steering, managing daily activities, and chairing project management team meetings
• Regularly update and report project status to team members, program management, and stakeholders, while effectively managing stakeholder engagement
• Define and oversee project milestones and quality gates, ensuring deliverables meet set standards
• Handle project documentation and communicate key decisions, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
• Build and manage global, virtual teams, driving standardization and solution development within time, budget, and quality constraints

Who you are

• Over 10+ years of project management experience, including two years of team management, with a focus on leading a diverse team
• Deep understanding of the respective area, with an engineering background and/or experience in mining and geology considered a plus.
• Experience in combining project management skills with technical and business acumen.
• Proficient in various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile)
• Fluent in English and adept at working independently with a high degree of self-motivation
• Possessing effective communication skills to align teams and inspire confidence
