Splio publishes a SaaS marketing platform that integrates CDP and Marketing Automation, as well as all essential CRM features (loyalty, Mobile Wallets), into a single platform powered by AI.

The platform enables CRM teams in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, and Telecoms to communicate and engage with their customers in a personalized manner across all channels (email, SMS, Push Wallet...).

More than 500 retail, e-commerce, FMCG, and Telecom companies across Europe and the MEA use Splio on a daily basis, including Nature et Découvertes, Longchamp, Bazarchic, APC, The Kooples, Fnac-Darty, Micromania, Faguo, Cyrillus, Orange, and Samsung.

Your responsibilities

As a part of the multicultural ACID+S team, you will take part of tasks and activities related to Abuse, Compliance, Industry relations, Deliverability and Security.

You’ll help investigating complex cases escalated by the Customer Care team, monitor overall deliverability performances of our clients, detect and solve settings issues, build and tighten ties with other actors of the industry, and act upon receiving complaints or security warnings.

The ACID+S team is the result of the logical merger between the ACID team, and the Security team, both teams having multiple overlaps and common objectives.

You’ll be led and supervised by an inspiring ACID expert who will help you learn and navigate through the multiple scopes of this small team.

You will follow a proper training and you’ll get access to documentation and guidelines related to the tasks you’ll be asked to fulfill.

You will be frequently in contact with the Customer Care team and Solution Experts, but also with R&D teams such as SRE, DevOps and various development teams.

Main Missions:
  • Abuse: Handle complaints, primarily related to spam, and take appropriate actions to address them.
  • Compliance: Monitor and troubleshoot customer configurations to ensure messages are sent with proper authentication and comply with industry standards.
  • Deliverability: Investigate and resolve email inbox placement issues, manage pools and PMTA Server configuration, facilitate delisting processes, and implement best practices to optimize email deliverability.
  • Industry relationship: Stay actively engaged in the industry by contributing to technical documentation, participating in calls and technical forums, and representing the company at events like M3aawg or Signal-Spam.
  • Security: Implement security measures to safeguard the email infrastructure and companies data integrity. React promptly to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations when necessary.
  • Other common activities: Develop scripts to automate tasks and enhance internal workflows. Improve and maintain internal tools, such as TRIP (Tools for Reputation and Investigation of Problems). Create and maintain dashboards and alert systems to monitor key performance metrics. Prepare internal documentation and conduct training sessions.

Job requirements

As this is a Junior position, not all the listed skills are mandatory, and we understand that they will be developed over time. However, if you lack interest in some of the non-mandatory items, this job might not be the right fit for you.

Required skills
  • Strong understanding of email deliverability concepts and best practices
  • Strong will to learn
  • Fluent in both English & French
  • Ability to read lines of code in common languages
  • Interest in technical systems and networks
  • Understanding of the SMTP protocol
  • Basic knowledge in SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and visualization tools like Grafana and OpenSearch.
Useful skills or skills to be developed
  • Proficiency in DNS management
  • Familiarity with Linux.
  • Interest in development (knowledge of PHP and Perl considered a plus)
  • Interest in technologies/platforms like AWS, Gitlab, CI/CD, Kubernetes, ClickHouse
  • Security monitoring and troubleshooting
