Graphic Design

At Random Studio, we create brand and service experiences that trigger a sense of wonder. Our work comes to life in the space where the digital meets the physical. As a studio, we value new ideas, new insight, new ways of seeing the world — and we're currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern with a focus on building presentations / decks.

This is a paid internship for a minimum of 4 months, preferably starting in June/July 2024.

We are looking for

• Someone with sharp graphic design skills, a keen eye for utilising typography / grid forms and interest in structuring presentations.

• Comfortable with Keynote, Figma and the Adobe Suite of products.

• Someone with an interest in architecture, technology and business within the fashion / design sector.

• Low-ego, high-communication mindset; comfortable with working closely alongside other designers / creatives and facilitating other’s ideas.

Opportunity

Random Studio is a studio with high freedom and low control, so we value those with an experimental and independent spirit. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work alongside the Senior Art Director in developing proposals, project presentations and maintaining consistency of design throughout the studio.

• Researching prospective clients and conceptual starting points for projects.

• Develop and refine the studio’s tone of voice and brand consistency.

• Designing project archival books upon project completion.

• Concept, design and contribute production-ready graphic design to active projects (project dependant).

Who you are

• Open and communicative, detail-oriented designer.

• A confident and proactive individual, comfortable both working independently and in groups.

• Up-to-date on design trends, contemporary typography usage, and the fashion industry.

• Comfortable using design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.

• Any experience with motion design / video editing (After Effects, Premier), Photography or 3D (primarily Blender) are appreciated but not required.
