Front-end Developer

We're currently seeking a proficient frontend developer for a 3-month contract. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the integration between our backend and frontend systems, focusing on security, performance, and scalability. You'll take the lead in refining our frontend architecture to improve both functionality and user experience, leveraging your expertise in design, development, and optimization.

Responsibilities:

· Build web applications using web development best practices.

· Transform designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· Develop applications using Angular and React.

· Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.

· Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.

· Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.

· Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code.

· Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

· Strong experience with frontend technologies, particularly Angular and React.

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· Familiarity with backend development principles and experience integrating frontend components with backend services.

· Basic understanding of web design principles.

· Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing and AODA Compliance.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Effective communication skills to collaborate with the team and stakeholders.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Python and frameworks like Django, Flask or FastAPI.

· Experience with Redis for caching implementation.

· Understanding of database optimization and caching.
