Senior Designer (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the fintech industry.

As the Senior Designer, you’ll be responsible for elevating the visuals and concepts of visual designs with a deep understanding of what the user wants. You work well with people and are a problem solver. You are open to multiple perspectives and thrive in creative excellence.

Role:

• Partner with the rest of the team on the technical implementation of the design into various elements like EDM, White Paper design, social content design and marketing design.
• Collaborate and integrate with clients’ marketing, branding, creative and other teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, etc.
• Drive and inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of users through quality-driven interactive design
• Ideate and execute ideas from beginning to end in a fast-paced working environment.
• Create original interactive visuals that are exciting and innovative, and respond to the client’s business, brand and strategic objectives across the region.
• Maintain client relationships and apply business acumen to develop accounts where possible.

You:

• At least 4+ years of experience in an agency, financial services firm, and hyper-growth technology companies
• A multidisciplinary designer with skills such as Visual Design, UI Design, Concept Development, Rapid Prototyping, System Design, Brand Identity, Product Design, Typography, etc.
• A multi-faceted designer who knows your Figma well, including component, style, layer management & creating scalable design systems.
• You don’t just consider yourself a great designer but also an amazing creative. You love coming up with ideas as much as you love spending time crafting them!
• Your commitment will be to delivering work of the highest quality while working with team members to constantly develop new ideas, staying abreast of new media formats and learning to incorporate them into designs.
• A sharp-eyed, detailed oriented and good design ambassador. You have a strong sense of layout, colour, composition and type.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning APAC.
