We are looking for highly driven, talented and self-motivated Tech Lead to join a team of world-class engineers in our Sofia office.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions

• Providing direction and guidance to the development team, making crucial technical decisions, and setting the overall technical vision for the product

• Reviewing code, ensuring it meets coding standards, identifying areas for improvement, and maintaining code quality

• Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers

• Evaluating new technologies, tools, and frameworks that could benefit the project, and making informed recommendations

• Collaborating with project managers on timelines, resource planning, and technical feasibility.

What You Bring With You:

• 7+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience in launching software products
• Strong background with software design and architecture
• Understanding of how to scale, build, and deploy enterprise applications and tools
• Strong knowledge in Python and frameworks such as Flask, Django, …
• Ability to solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Past work experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow engines

• Work experience in relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL; and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

• Experience with HA, DR, different clustering strategies of enterprise applications.
