Who is the Seller Success team?

The Seller Success Product Team strives to make AutoScout24 the best place for car dealers and private sellers to reach buyers. We help dealers manage, grow and scale their business with us. As part of this team, you will play a key role in defining the product vision for our dealer platform and create best-in-class selling experiences for over 41,000 dealers across our European marketplaces. As a Product Manager for Dealer Experience, you will work independently, setting the north star for your product space and develop & prioritize product and feature roadmaps based on group strategy and vision. You will define the scope and work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Design, Analytics and Operations on the execution, inspiring and leading from behind.

Our current work format is hybrid - you would be expected to meet with the team in our Berlin office twice a week (the days could be flexible).

What you’ll do

  • Set the vision and goals for your product space and define customer-focused product and feature roadmaps based on group strategy
  • Identify user needs and validate hypotheses together with UX Designers, Researchers, and Analysts
  • Dive Deep into data to understand customer behavior
  • Identify customers’ pain-points and opportunities, and build coherent recommendations and roadmaps which address those needs
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for international markets: Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Austria
  • Become a close partner with country managers and their commercial teams
  • Build deep understanding for our long tail dealer segment
  • Coordinate with partner teams (product, sales, UX, Engineering) to bring key initiatives on their roadmaps
  • Continuously monitor market trends and product usage to identify opportunities
  • Communicate and drive alignment for your vision and roadmap with internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Collaborate to craft culture with our top tier leadership team while mentoring and coaching PMs and those around you

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams to coordinate product and software development cycles and successfully deliver complex products
  • Very good analytical skills with the ability to use data to backup ideas and assumptions, develop insights and recommendations and define and measure success metrics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to guide cross-functional teams and influence business stakeholders and leadership
  • A balance of customer obsession and pragmatism to ensure we are investing where it matters most and drives the highest impact
  • Great stakeholder-management skills across all levels enabling you to get the organization to rally behind your missions
  • Thought leadership to articulate challenging opportunities and bring clarity about what we should do about it (and why)
