Responsibilities

Own: what is this person singularly responsible for?

• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly workflows to ensure smooth fund operations.
• Organize and manage data and file storage to maintain accurate records.
• Execute ad hoc projects as assigned to support the fund's operational needs.

Assist: what will this person be involved in, or collaborating with other individuals + teams on?

• Develop and implement new workflows as the fund continues to grow.
• Onboard new programs and systems that enhance operational efficiency.
• Collect and organize historical data for compliance and audit purposes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to formalize written policies and procedures.
• Partner with Legal & Compliance to maintain accurate internal records for regulatory exams, audits, taxes, and more.
• Coordinate with external vendors such as fund administrators, auditors, and accountants to ensure accurate documentation.

Knowledge: what experience does this person need to possess?

• 1+ years of experience, preferably in a private equity or fund administration role. Startup experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial products, cash management, and accounting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience using Slack, Zoom, and email for remote communication is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with no-code technologies (e.g., Airtable, Google Drive, Box) and a mindset of automation is advantageous.
• Attention to detail is crucial, as the information managed will be used in regulatory filings, taxes, audits, and more.
• Tech-savvy with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Confidence in solving new and nuanced problems, knowing when to engage the right people for effective solutions.
