Technical Project Manager

Role Overview:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects within the organization. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, technical knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired quality standards. The Technical Project Manager acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Manage and track project milestones and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understand and contribute to the technical aspects of the project.
• Ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements and align with company standards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to address technical challenges and ensure project feasibility.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes and testing procedures.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage project expenses.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in project management.
• Technical Experience: Significant experience in a technical role such as software development, IT, engineering, or systems analysis is highly valuable.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation to completion, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
