We're looking for a sharp, positive, and motivated self-starter with mobile experience to join our App Dev team as a Client Partner in New York! Our Mid-Market App Dev team partners with Mobile App Developers globally, consulting clients on how to successfully grow their businesses leveraging the best of Reddit’s platform capabilities. This team also partners with our XFN product and tech teams to represent their clients’ interests, influencing the future of Reddit ads.

In this role, you will lay the foundation of the team by identifying and forming relationships with new key brands, learning about their business goals, and educating them about how to achieve their growth objectives by advertising on Reddit. This role will be primarily focused on new client acquisition. Core Responsibilities:

  • Prospect into and collaborate with prospective App Developer advertisers to deliver Reddit solutions that help achieve their marketing and business goals
    • Persistently explore and uncover the needs of your clients, leveraging insights and deep product knowledge to align their goals with opportunities on the platform
    • Educate App Developers on Reddit and how best to leverage the Reddit ads platform
    • Leverage agency and client direct relationships to identify new buyers of Reddit advertising products
    • Own client meetings from agenda to final presentation, instilling confidence and setting all interactions up for success by appropriately setting client expectations, identifying outcomes, and communicating clear next steps
    • Proactively construct upfront and joint business plans with top clients, including media plans and learning agendas, while establishing measurement source(s) of truth
  • Within your book of business, take full ownership of establishing an outbound pipeline, making strategic bets, forecasting revenue, prioritizing within your book, and having operational rigor
    • Leverage data from internal and external sources to inform prospect prioritization and pitch strategies
    • Collaborate with Account Managers to lay the proper groundwork for long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships between your App Developer customer base and Reddit
    • Collaborate closely with other Client Partners and Account Managers to craft a cohesive strategy for accounts that will eventually exchange hands
  • Communicate feedback on our sales processes, acquisition strategies, vertical narratives, and ad products to cross-functional teams to help advocate for App Dev customers and improve the team's effectiveness and efficiency
    • Share your industry, client, and product expertise by mentoring and training other team members
    • Partner with Sales Ops to provide feedback on book-building and prospect qualification and prioritization
    • Proactively identify and own relevant projects, meeting deadlines for their required outcomes
    • Build and leverage deep internal relationships, both within your direct team and cross-functionally, working together to deliver on client and business goals

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in digital media with at least 1-3 years of experience in sales
  • Deep industry expertise in mobile apps, mobile User Acquisition funnels, and MMPs
  • Demonstrated high achievement against sales targets and quotas
  • High familiarity with sales tools for research, prospecting, prioritization and client outreach at scale
  • Proven experience upleveling relationships up through C-level executives
  • A hunger for establishing new relationships, acquiring new clients (both direct and agency-driven), and bringing them onto a platform in a way that sets them up for long-term success
  • Subject matter expertise in the social media landscape and native advertising
  • Ability to manage a book of business greater than 30 accounts
  • Positive outlook, team player
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
