Senior Network Engineer

• Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions.
• Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.
• Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats, and developing disaster recovery plans.
• Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.
• Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior.
• Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending agaainst unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
• Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.
• Identify threats and work to create steps to defend against them
• Perform vulnerability and penetration tests across all network segments
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior
• Configure and manage security systems such as Cisco/Fortigate firewalls, and antivirus if any
• Create network policies and authorization roles for file access
• Analyze current security requirements and make suggestions for improvements
• Understanding the problems and solving them within the agreed SLA
• Updating ticketing system with all actions and tasks
