KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Ensure machine availability, reliability & performance related to machines and applications in Wheel Manufacturing Division downstream.
  • Consult and attend operational maintenance activities and breakdowns through root cause analyzing, corrective action development and execution to avoid recurring problems.
  • Ensure lower cost of maintenance through cost effective solution in breakdown, corrective and preventive maintenance, process improvement etc.
  • Prepare Machine technical documentation and associated instructions related machineries (safety, quality, work procedures) in his perimeter and update the CMMS system.
  • Carry out and apply maintenance instructions and operational procedures defined in setting, commissioning, adjustment, calibration, activities related to machine maintenance.
  • Ensure availability of critical spare parts, equipment and updated relevant data in SAP system
  • Carryout/Support OPEX/CAPEX projects relevant to his perimeter.
  • Drive maintenance related initiatives (RCM, CMMS, FMEA etc) and ensure the sustainability.
  • On time updating defined KPI dashboard and maintain the accuracy
  • Ensure the compliance of stipulated procedures of tech team (Safety, quality, daily management system)
  • Develop maintenance skills (tutoring, coaching, training materials, assistive devices for maintenance, 'one-point lessons') of technicians.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/mechatronics or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering/mechatronics or Hydraulics field.

  • Experience in Engineering Software (MS project, Solid works, Auto cad).

  • Experience in Project management including Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting will be an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills in both English & Sinhala and good interpersonal relationship skills;

  • Customer focus, Teamwork & Collaboration, Leadership and Problem-Solving skills
