The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a Director, FAST & AVOD Distribution Integration & Business Planningto join our commercial revenue team based in our New York, New York headquarters .

JOB SUMMARY

The Director, FAST & AVOD Distribution Integrations & Business Planning will serve as the day-to-day business and operations lead for AMC Networks’ free, ad-supported content distribution, driving strategic process recommendations and optimizing operational and performance workflows.

The ideal candidate is an analytical leader who collaborates across the organization to support the development of business plans that drive AMCN FAST/AVOD monetization and viewership goals across our growing distribution footprint. The Director demonstrates exceptional leadership, managerial, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills as well as an ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.

This position reports to the Vice President, FAST & AVOD Revenue Strategy and sits within the Commercial Revenue organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support leadership in development and tracking of FAST/AVOD business plans through clear KPI’s, goals and deliverables.

  • Lead partner insights and reporting process by identifying partner challenges, opportunities, capability enhancements; viewership and monetization trends.

  • Monitor, track and communicate market trends, audience insights, content performance, emerging product opportunities and competitive insights to grow and optimize our FAST/AVOD portfolio.

  • Represent FAST/AVOD business needs across organization and establish strong relationships with cross-functional teams: Commercial Revenue, Global Technology & Operations, Ad Operations, Programming and Marketing.

  • Manage stakeholder communications through executive briefings, performance and business plan updates, industry, and competitive analysis.

  • Synthesize partner performance and forecasting and recommend optimization levers.

  • Represent FAST/AVOD business needs to Global Technology & Operations on behalf of Commercial Revenue, specific responsibilities:

  • Influence scalable workflows by collaborating with GT&O leads external partners to uncover efficiencies and improve distribution timelines.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of distribution platform delivery specs, disseminate to relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Continuously evaluate FAST/AVOD media delivery health

  • Drive annual roadmap conversations on behalf of commercial revenue team, advocating for successful infrastructure planning against growth goals

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of digital content delivery workflows required
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with technical teams
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work across multiple functions at varying levels of seniority
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel. Airtable a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience.
