What We Are Looking For:

Persado is looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer to join a team that helps build the company’s AI-based products.

What You Will Work On:

• Main responsibilities:
  • Build data pipelines and infrastructure to support Persado’s DS teams, e.g. model training and evaluation pipelines.
  • Leverage the models that the DS teams builds in building production grade ML systems
  • Develop, document and deploy tools and services for other teams at Persado to integrate with the ML systems.
  • Improve performance, maintainability, and reliability of Persado’s ML systems
  • Apply software engineering practices to ML systems, e.g. automated testing, CI/CD, service oriented architecture, etc.
  • Support Persado’s model governance and ML security posture.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on project requirements.
• Technologies you will use:
  • Workload management: Linux, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Cloud computing: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Software engineering: Python, and to lesser extent Java, Ruby, JS.
  • Workflow: Airflow, Airbyte
  • Frameworks: Pytorch, Ray, vLLM
  • Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry
  • Configuration management: Terraform, Helm, Kustomize
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Citus DB, AWS Redshift, Redis, etc.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 5 years work experience in a technical role, including experience in a role such as:
  • MLOps Engineer,
  • Platform Engineer,
  • DevOps Engineer,
  • Data Engineer,
  • or equivalent
• Experience with cloud computing, storage and database systems
• Experience using Web APIs (e.g. REST)
• Experience with container workload management systems like Kubernetes
• Experience with workflow engine tools, either general or ML Specific, such as:
  • Kubeflow,
  • MLflow
  • Airflow
  • Argo Workflows,
  • Etc.
• Experience with performance engineering and monitoring
• Experience with CI/CD
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix systems administration
• Basic software engineering skills (including Python software development)
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Understanding of software testing concepts, such as unit testing, integration testing etc.
