Backend Engineer

We're looking for a top-notch backend Java developer to join our team and shape the technology of the world's top content recommendation network.

A Day in a life

• Work closely with remote team members
• Peer review through pull requests is our bread and butter.
• We have built a highly scalable & highly available set of microservices where all pieces must fit together to deliver top performance and correctness.
• Develop systems and features that support both product and business processes
• Develop hybrid integration processes
• You will write high-quality code, using best practices for coding and testing

What you’ll bring

• Team player and highly motivated
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in SQL, Spring Boot, Junit.
• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science / Engineering or related degrees.
• At least 3 years of Java experience
• You have excellent knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing at scale, and operations.
• You have great communication and interpersonal skills, and you love to collaborate with your team and share all the different knowledge you've accumulated with others.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following is an advantage: Kotlin, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
• Ability to investigate design and develop applications integrated with third-party apps

• Experience in integration with customer management systems such as CRM/Billing/ERP and marketing systems
• Advance SQL
