About the Client:

They are leveraging WordPress and WooCommerce to deliver top-notch products and services to our customers globally. We are looking for a skilled Full-stack WordPress Developer to join our clients’ dynamic team and take over the ongoing development and maintenance of their comprehensive WordPress setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the WordPress/WooCommerce site:
• Manage and update existing plugins and themes.
• Ensure site performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop custom functionalities:
• Utilize Advanced Custom Fields PRO and other tools to create custom fields and post types.
• Integrate and customize third-party plugins as required.
• Handle integrations and APIs:
• Manage integrations with Avalara AvaTax, Cloudflare, Klaviyo, and other external services.
• Ensure smooth operation of payment gateways such as CloudPayments, Mollie, PayPal, and Revolut.
• Oversee multilingual and multicurrency setup:
• Utilize WPML plugins to manage multilingual content and translations.
• Configure and troubleshoot WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency.
• Implement design and UX improvements:
• Use Oxygen Builder and Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce for advanced design capabilities.
• Enhance user experience with custom WooCommerce mini cart and other UI elements.
• Optimize site performance and SEO:
• Implement caching solutions with Nginx Helper.
• Utilize Smart OpenGraph by PixelYourSite for better SEO and social data handling.
• Manage affiliate and marketing integrations:
• Oversee plugins like AdScount, Affiliate Plugin, and Brandbassador.
• Implement and manage marketing pixels and feeds using PixelYourSite Pro and related plugins.
• Monitor and debug:
• Use Query Monitor and WP Crontrol for performance monitoring and debugging.
• Manage error logs and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in WordPress and WooCommerce development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields PRO, WPML, and WooCommerce.
• Experience with eCommerce integrations:
• Familiarity with payment gateways (CloudPayments, Mollie, PayPal, Revolut).
• Understanding of tax calculation systems (Avalara AvaTax).
• Proficiency in frontend and backend development.
• Experience with Oxygen Builder for custom design implementations.
• Strong understanding of server-side and client-side performance optimization.
• Knowledge of marketing and analytics tools:
• Experience with Klaviyo, PixelYourSite, and other marketing integration tools.
• Security and compliance awareness:
• Knowledge of Cloudflare for security and performance.
• Experience with compliance tools like Cookiebot CMP.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills:
• Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with tools like Query Monitor and WP Crontrol.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills:
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with multisite networks.
• Familiarity with regional shipping plugins (CDEK, UX couriers for various countries).
• Knowledge of custom post type management (Custom Post Type UI, Toolset Types).
