Job Summary

This position is an opportunity for an experienced ICT professional whose primary responsibility is to provide technical consultancy services to clients of the firm as well as providing technical excellence whilst working on various projects.

About the Role

Acting at an Associate or above level, the ICT Lead Engineer will have significant knowledge and experience in a number of ICT fields and an understanding of how engineering disciplines correlate and interact with one another.

Working with a team committed to developing innovative designs for high-performance buildings, the Associate ICT Lead Engineer will play a fundamental role in the production of great design work. The role

  • Lead a design team through the entire project life cycle, supporting the team in ICT client meetings, collaborating with other disciplines and consultants, coordinating site service and electrical requirements, and performing field reviews
  • Take ownership for ICT projects from start to finish, meeting project objectives while putting emphasis on sustainable solutions and outcomes
  • Promote active, continuous learning and improvement within the team. Cultivate team membersโ€™ growth through feedback, coaching and career development
  • Support Team Leads to plan projects, optimize resources Managing project timelines, budget, and talented resources
  • Guidance for building the right career for you, whether your goals are to become a technical expert or move into leadership, we have the right support to help you achieve your goals.
  • Client facing, representing Introba and maintaining key client relationships

What you bring to the team:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as an ICT consultant in the building industry

  • Australian Qualifications Framework - Bachelorโ€™s degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma associated with Electrical Engineering specialisation.

  • An established reputation as an ICT consultant in the buildings industry with an existing network of relationships across key stakeholders in the industry (e.g architects, end clients)

  • Ability to read Architectural, Communications, Electrical drawings

  • Expert knowledge on BICSI and TIA/EIA standards.

  • Ability to design and model wireless LAN infrastructure.

  • Healthcare ICT system experience desirable in addition to Nursecall, middleware platforms, Falls Detection, Data Cabling and AV systems.

  • Past Revit experience desirable

  • A growth mindset to constantly challenge the status quo, to develop optimised solutions for each project.

  • Excellent advisory and reporting skills - the ability to analyse various sources of information, and clearly communicate these complex ideas with less technical stakeholders.

  • A collaborative nature โ€“ keen to share knowledge with the team and drive excellence across a range of projects.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Strong report writing, communication and consulting skills.

  • Possess advanced interpersonal skills with clients and staff, along with advanced communication and coaching abilities.
