Fraud Architect

The team

Within Finance & Risk Enterprise Architecture we are looking for a new Fraud architect. You will be joining an experienced team of 8 architects that work in the Non-Financial Risk domain within ING. The team is based in Amsterdam and works to further develop ING’s global services. This position will be focused on the Fraud domain.

Roles and responsibilities

As Fraud Prevention architect you:

• Drive incremental change
• Create reference architectures
• Deliver architecture roadmaps
• Organise and support workshops and presentations for decision making
• Translate policy and requirements into solutions
• Contribute to the creation of global standards
• Create real-time (API), event-based (KAFKA) and batch integration designs
• Manage stakeholders across multiple departments in various countries
• Are up to date with the latest technologies
• Work independent under limited guidance with a strong drive to collaborate with other stakeholders
• Become the go-to person for Fraud architecture

• You have at least 3 years of experience as an architect in the Fraud or a related domain in which you’ve gained Fraud expertise.
• Have experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial institutions)
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical topics to various audiences.
• Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.
• You improve yourself constantly; and you challenge, improve and train others continuously.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field/ equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical topics to various audiences.
• Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.
• Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies, processes (e.g. TOGAF), service management processes and an agile work environment.
