- Conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions for large-scale landscape architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, environmental sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, urban planners, engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate landscape architecture seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Lead the development of design presentations, and digital models, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Conduct site analysis and research to understand environmental, cultural, and social factors that influence design decisions, and integrate findings into project designs.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide design expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept development through construction administration and project completion.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture, and integrate new ideas and methodologies into project designs.
- Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on designing large-scale programs and projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GIS.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual presentations.
- Knowledge of landscape architecture principles, theories, and practices, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in real-world projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
- Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred.
