Overview

As a Senior UX Researcher & Data Analyst within the HP Store, you help define and drive the future of HP Store experiences. You collaborate, identify and drive product strategies, envision complex UX ecosystems and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible on a data-driving decision support approach. You possess a clear vision of the future through the lens of users by applying design thinking.

In this role, you will apply your passion for our customer, brand, your craft to guide research and design processes to deliver measured outcomes. You will directly lead and mentor talented members of your team, and collaborate with leaders of other Design, Product and Engineering teams to create innovative and profitable experiences within HP Store Global reach.

You lead from the front and inspire your team, with experience, the know-how and previous experience. You have strong instincts and outstanding intuition, yet always place data as our north star. You will provide leadership and direction for a team of UX disciplines.

Our ideal candidate has an uncanny sense for clean design, is a fierce advocate for the user, and is committed to creating elegantly simple user experiences from otherwise complex workflows. You also take the time to understand not just the execution side of design but also be an advocate for driving top and bottom-line growth by setting and achieving KPIs.

The Role

  • Leading UX Research and ensuring solid deliverables are actioned and implemented via UX team.
  • Empathize with consumers and our customers and translate their problems into opportunities.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and offer actionable UX design guidelines solutions.
  • Present Findings, Work & Results to executives and stakeholders.
  • Work in lockstep with Experimentation, Insights and Engineering teams to ensure we prioritise and push future platform capabilities.
  • Prioritise task and projects based on ROI & ease of implementation.
  • Work with external HP organisation to build upon the overall HP customer experiences and integrating companywide initiatives into the Store ecosystem
  • Consistent evangelisation of the Customer and ensuring datapoints are at the centre of the discussions.
  • Team up with other UX superstars to gain enthusiasm, buy-in and win together.
  • A Passion for Content and the importance of structures and hierarchy

Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse UX research team through experience development cycles within a complex environment, from ideation to delivery.
  • Utilize a modern user-centered design process, based on deep data-driven insights, complemented with talented creativity to deliver amazing services and solutions guidelines.
  • Understand and empathise with Customers and business stakeholders and decipher the ask or requirement and transform them into actionable / deliverable UX solutions.

Experience

  • Successfully delivering winning experiences at scale across multiple platforms with particular emphasis on e-commerce.
  • Striving to generate actionable insights that drive engagement through personalization.
  • Ability to drive multiple medium complexity initiatives with minimal guidance.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking by attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse community of the industry’s most exceptional talent with strong bias towards design mentorship and career growth
  • Applying business acumen to an organization’s problems/challenges and developing solutions that reflect solid judgment.
  • Collaborating and influencing throughout a global and matrixed organization.
  • Desired: eCommerce Product ownership or management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Industrial Design or other design-related fields
  • Proven ability to lead teams of UX and product specialists
  • 8 + years of experience in UX research
