As a Customer Onboarding analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely setting up of customer accounts, and maintenance of customer information. Your responsibilities will primarily involve account creation on our systems, verifying and updating essential customer data and documentation, as well as sending out Welcome Letters. This role will sit within our Data team, but you will also work closely with members of the KYC team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Accurate and efficient customer account opening
  • Verify and validate customer data to ensure accuracy and completeness while opening the accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple teams to maintain a smooth onboarding process, taking initiative to work with your manager if you identify areas that could be improved.
  • Work with confidential and sensitive customer information, adhering to strict data security and privacy protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC and AML regulations, following established guidelines and procedures.
  • Be on the lookout for data discrepancies and inconsistencies, addressing these promptly by communicating with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an operations/ administrative role
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a methodical approach to account opening
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of managing and prioritising tasks effectively
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • A clear track record of strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Have:

  • Data protection and confidentiality awareness
  • Familiarity with KYC and AML concepts is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, specifically within finance and/ or technology

Working Pattern

  • Hybrid working pattern in London office, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
