We’re thrilled to announce a new opening in our marketing team: we’re looking for a Content Marketer to take our marketing activities to a whole new level! In this position, your focus lies in content creation throughout our multiple channels to drive our business and brand Columbia Road as the go-to digital sales consultancy in the Nordics.

Columbia Road builds seamless and commercially effective customer journeys that create impact. We help our clients get more revenue and more customers, but also to sell better. Our tight-knit team consists of business consultants who understand software and of highly talented business-driven design and technology specialists.

What you’ll do

As the Content Marketer, you’ll get to lead our digital channels and take charge of Columbia Road's content creation and development in the Nordics. Above all, you love writing and storytelling and are eager to jump into topics that might also be unfamiliar to you. In this full-time position, you will drive our business hands-on by writing content such as blog articles, reference cases, social media posts, ad copy, reports, and guides, to name a few. You will also support Columbia Road’s talent attraction efforts by producing recruitment-focused content. You will proactively write, conduct interviews, edit, and coordinate - to find a coherent voice to convey Columbia Road’s offering and our unique culture.

You have the skills and courage to investigate, analyse, and suggest small experiments as well as bold moves to our organisation. You are great at communicating your ideas in a business-driven and goal-oriented way. We aim high and want to be thought leaders in digital sales.

At Columbia Road, we believe that marketing and sales should be a joint effort. Marketing is not an add-on; it’s at the core of our business. Therefore, in this internal role, you will work closely with our marketing team, our sales team, and our 150+ local and global professionals to understand the local market and clients' needs.

You will be joining our small but mighty marketing team, which consists of our Marketing Lead, Suvi, and Brand Designers Ram, Jenni, Jakob, & Jonna. The team works tightly on a global level, and marketing responsibilities are also divided within the team. You have a lot of freedom and independence in this role, but you always have the support of your colleagues, and we love to spar with each other!

Requirements

  • You are interested in digital sales and marketing and are excited to join our fast-growing international company
  • You are a natural storyteller and enjoy writing both short and long-form texts
  • You’ve gained at least two years of real-life experience in B2B content planning, creation and editing for multiple channels
  • You might have a background in media, journalism, advertising, social media marketing or communications
  • You are fluent in speaking and writing both in English and Finnish. English is our company language at Columbia Road, but you will also be working in Finnish
  • You are comfortable with taking responsibility and have great self-management skills
  • You are innovative and a quick learner, always curious to learn new traits and try new ways of communicating. A curious person who is also a builder, not just an innovator
  • You know the basics of CRMs, content management systems, marketing automation, and SEO

The recruitment process usually has 3 steps during which we get to know who you are and what motivates you. You will learn more about Columbia Road and get to meet different people from our company. You'll have the opportunity to present highlights from your career and tell us about your skills, roles, and learnings.
