We are changing the way Micron Technology; Inc. thinks about Security Operations and are looking for experienced Security Engineers to help in this endeavor.

In this role you will be part of a fast-paced team focusing on Security Operations in Micron’s IT Infrastructure Operations.

Responsibilities and Tasks

This role will focus on various security technologies within IT Operations and Engineering, some of the key areas of responsibility include:

• Enhance security technical controls deployed for a worldwide enterprise.
• Ensure protection of networks, systems, and applications by enforcement of AV solution, EDR, PAM, and DLP security policy.
• Configure, Maintain and Monitor AV solution, EDR, PAM, and DLP security alerts using available Endpoint security tools to respond, triage, and escalate as needed.
• Identify trends and drive requirements aimed at improving and enhancing existing data loss prevention detection policies.
• Engineer, configure, deploy, and maintain Endpoint security tools including but not limited to AV solutions, EDR, PAM, and DLP.
• Develop advanced alerts/reports to meet the requirements of key stakeholders.
• Create AV, EDR, PAM, and DLP rules/signatures to mitigate threats and implement best practices.
• Upgrade in-scope security infrastructure to maintain the latest approved versions.
• Keep patches up to date on in-scope security infrastructure.
• Standard escalation to senior staff
• Resolve daily incident requests and resolutions.
• Maintain an audit review process for policy exceptions.
• Fulfill daily service requests and resolutions.
• Participation in root cause analysis with senior-level engineers
• Troubleshooting with end users
• On-call duties to quickly respond to and remediate P1 and P2 incidents
• Response and participation in Critical incidents as part of an Emergency Response Team (ERT)
• Expected to work in rotational shifts from the office.
• Expected to perform all operational-driven activities, as this role is for the Info-Security Operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Must have:

• General knowledge of security concepts such as access controls, AVs, EDR, PAM, identity management, data classification and loss prevention
• Understanding of security technical controls
• Overall experience varying from 1 yrs. – 3 yrs. years of engineering solutions relating to layered security products with any combination of the following technologies:
  • AV: CarbonBlack, Sentinel one (S1), Crowdstrike, Defender or similar vendors
  • Privileged access management such as Avecto Beyondtrust trust or similar
  • DLP : Windows DLP, McAfee/Symantec NDLP, Digital Guardian or similar vendors

Good to have:

Knowledge and hand-on experience with:

• Antivirus and DLP technologies
• Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) appliances
• External and Internal PKI
• File integrity monitoring solutions
• Data at rest encryption solutions
• Vulnerability Scanning solutions
• Egress cloud-based web proxy
• Remote access and site to site VPNs
• SIEM platforms
• Stateful inspection and next gen firewalls
• Firewall management and monitoring solutions.
• Cloud Access Security Broker solution
• Excellent experience with Regular Expressions
• Extensive knowledge of web technologies and concepts
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, web protocols and networking concepts
• Experience with managing Web/Application Servers
• Ability to balance security with end-user productivity for technical controls
• Scripting ability in popular platforms
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
• Strong skills in decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation
• Knowledge of Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, Virtual Network, VDI and Bastion

Education

• B.Tech., B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience.
