The Engineering and Technology Development (ETD) team is a worldwide organization in Micron, located in US, Taiwan, Singapore, India, etc. The team consists of people from different countries, cultures, and as a result, we're known for our innovative, inclusive, and diverse culture.

Our focus on software solutions are in the following categories:

Improve the capabilities of Smart Manufacturing by incorporating intelligent production techniques.

Defect and Failure Data Collection and Categorization solutions.

Massive data used to evaluate yield, grade product, categorize defects and failures, and identify and fix design and process issues.

Advanced Image Processing and Analysis

Innovative solutions applying a variety of computer vision and machine learning techniques to analyze images, perform calculations, and recognize problems.

Laboratory Management and Product Verification

Solutions enabling laboratory workflow, information management, and vendor product verification.

Technology Development Process Capability Improvement

Large, evolving system(s) to manage process maturity and the manufacturing capability of each “process unit” developed in Technology Development.

Our team will need to work directly with global customers to understand and fix issues, identify and address root causes, and collaboratively develop new tools and functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business needs to identify the problem.
• Analyze the software solution options.
• Build/Maintain modern web applications and backend service.
• Adopt CI/CD, Cloud, Container technologies to build highly scalable solutions.
• Integrate 3rd party solutions.
• Collaborate with global project team to ensure all requirements are met.
• Creative and passionate about implementing innovative IT solutions to address significant business problems.
• Work in a dynamic team environment to achieve a common goal through effective collaboration and dedication.
• Support ongoing developments/operation for existing projects/applications.
• Required to provide 24/7 standby operation support on rotation basis.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge in any programming language such as C#, C++, SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Linux/Windows scripting
• One or more of the following: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
• Applicant who proven good software project management skill and had exposure to agile development methodology will be advantageous.
• Additional Experiences would be a plus: Knowledge in Cloud such as NiFi, Kafka, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, or Industrial Internet of the Things (IIoT).

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science/computer engineering/engineering.
• Familiarity with Web frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, Django or others.
• Familiarity with REST API development and Backend development in C#/.Net Core and Python.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
