What you'll do:

  • Analyze, design, and oversee the implementation of technology solutions that allow us to develop solutions that drive growth, efficiency and the rapid delivery of payment services.
  • Bridge the gap between complex technical processes and business strategies to ensure a unified approach to problem-solving ensuring clear communication and shared understanding.
  • Provide expertise in system architecture and design to support scalable solutions, you will help us to design robust, scalable and high-performance systems that meet current and future business needs, reducing lead time and improving service quality.
  • Inspire and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and hands-on technical leadership, fostering an environment focused on efficiency and high standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, oversee best practices in software development, and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Remain actively involved in coding and development tasks to maintain technical competency and lead by example.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle working closely with product management, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products quickly and efficiently.
  • Serve as the go-to authority for all aspects related to payment processing, including compliance, security, transaction handling and provide deep domain expertise in payment processing to guide system design and operational decisions, ensuring scalable and reliable service.
  • Continuously research and integrate the latest advancements in payment technology and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply your deep understanding of floating-point operations and transactions to improve payment systems and financial calculations.
  • Expertly manage and orchestrate cloud infrastructure on both Azure and AWS, ensuring scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Leverage the full potential of cloud services to optimize application performance and resilience:
  • Drive cloud-native initiatives and migrations, providing guidance on the best practices for secure, distributed computing.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred;
  • At least 8 years of software development experience, with a significant portion in a leadership role;
  • Proven ability to balance technical requirements with business needs;
  • Experience leading and mentoring software development teams;
  • Deep knowledge of payment processing systems and related technologies;
  • Proficiency in floating-point computation and its practical applications;
  • Strong expertise in cloud services, specifically Azure and AWS, with certifications being an added advantage;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders;
  • A track record of building scalable, high-performance software platforms;
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices;
  • Advanced English.
