Overview: The Strategy and Transformation Director provides business partnering support for the senior executive leadership function and is directly involved in all key organizational strategic implementations. Responsible for collaborative and strategic program planning and management, working as a close business partner supporting the executive level leader of the specific Inovalon business. Serves as a trusted thought partner and advisor to executive leadership to include establishing, cultivating, and maintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders with a focus on resolving internal questions and issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives business unit strategy development and documentation in coordination with the business unit senior leadership team from development through communication and successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads.
  • Acts on critical priorities, programs, and other initiatives; drives results through management by objectives (MBO), key performance indicators (KPI), and other goal administration.
  • Supports an integrated business plan in support of the broader organization’s strategy, business plan, goal development, and planning process. Serves as an integrator to create greater team cohesion and inspire further engagement in the business unit vision/strategy across the core team and cross-functional partners.
  • Prepares executive-level presentations; serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for the preparation of executive-level presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Harvests and integrates data to develop and manage monthly/quarterly/annual executive level reporting for the business unit; develops agendas, coordinates logistics, tracks, and ensures completion of next steps for senior leadership meetings.
  • Manages an efficient and elevated business rhythm; creates space to ensure the senior leadership team has the time and resources to execute plans and programs, assess resources, and articulate the link between strategy and action.
  • Prepares and coordinates resources and materials for critical meetings and facilitates business unit meetings and events as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains compliance with Complex Care Solutions' policies, procedures and mission statement.
  • Adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Complex Care Solutions' Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.
  • Fulfills those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in high-level partnerships with SVP and above executives.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of organizational alignment and development experience displaying a strong history of partnering with communications, finance, human capital, operations, etc.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of executive-level presentation and reporting skills for C-level reviews.
  • High degree of executive presence and emotional maturity in a flexible and high-paced work environment while being trustworthy and upholding confidential information.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, problem-solving, and action-orientated critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of leadership.
  • Proven record of transformation initiatives with senior leadership teams and success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's degree or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods).
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force.
  • Frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects and repetitive motions.
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions.
  • Travel for this position is expected to be less than 25%.
