• Bring ideas for the TYPO3 core to life
• Development and integration of related features into the TYPO3 core
• Review, adjust, and finetune patches
• Supporting the TYPO3 core team in developing and finalizing solutions
• Writing tests (unit- and functional tests), including sustainable documentation and quality assurance

What we would like to see

• Completed studies with a focus on computer science, a similar education, or relevant professional experience
• Excellent knowledge of TYPO3 CMS development (focused backend, TYPO3 core, Extbase, Fluid, and TypoScript)
• Experience with TYPO3 extension development (own extensions or contribution to extensions)
• SOLID principles, test-driven development (PHP Unit), and clean code
• Familiarity with development tools like IDE, xdebug, etc, especially GIT and Gerrit.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React would be a great
• Having a certification as a TYPO3 CMS Certified Developer (TCCD) is a plus
• Structured, goal-oriented, proactive, and self-dependent working style with a high-quality standard
• Team orientation, innovative thinking, and acting complete your profile

Formal qualifications

• Several years of professional experience working in a development role
• Excellent knowledge of the TYPO3 core, PHP 8 and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Doctrine
• You already contributed successfully to the TYPO3 core (handed in patches that got merged)
• Good knowledge of Symfony Components
• Good knowledge of PHPUnit
• Confident use of standard development tools (IDE, Git, Gerrit, Composer)
