As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will be:

  • Primarily developing with Java 11 in Spring Tool Suite.

  • Designing, developing, and implementing efficient and scalable data pipelines using Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies.

  • Configuring and maintaining cloud data infrastructures using technologies such as Azure and AWS, including services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3.

  • Developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data storage systems.

  • Ensuring data quality and consistency through cleaning, validation, and quality assurance techniques.

  • Optimizing the performance of data processing and storage systems, ensuring the efficiency and scalability of the implemented solutions.

  • Implementing security practices and regulatory compliance in handling sensitive data. - Full time 40 hours
    _- Work mode: Remote_We require a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position, but above all, motivation and enthusiasm for well-done work.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or, optionally, another related field.

  • Previous experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.

  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies and services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Lake Storage, Amazon S3, etc.

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java, with experience applying them in data engineering projects.

  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL database architectures and designs.

  • Experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes using tools and frameworks like Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache Spark, etc.

  • Knowledge of DevOps tools.

  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and good data engineering practices.
