As a Senior PHP Developer (m/f/d) you will work in our cross-functional team on the development of professional web applications in our online store and our operation service.

• You have the huge opportunity to plan and develop the new store backend from scratch with the engineering team consisting of frontend, backend and DevOps engineers.
  No blah blah, but clean decoupled services & a headless eCommerce system!
• This year we developed the world unique Artwork Service, which performs technical and visual checks on uploaded PDFs within a few seconds, calculating and delivering all textures for a hyper-realistic 3D model. Everything goes live to the frontend via websockets. There, the next steps for improved 3D inspection to the customer uploads are also in the pipeline.
• We believe in cross-functional teams, so starting from Epics in GitLab you will work with the engineering team on implementation/coordination across different microservices.
• You will make strategic decisions with the Upcoming Services / Features team and balance between Quick & Dirty PoC, temporary workarounds and sustainable development.
• You work agile and asynchronous in sprints, live the feedback culture directly via reviews in merge requests and sprint reviews. You pay attention to code quality and implement best practices.
• A degree in a scientific field
• Several years of practical experience as a backend developer in collaboration with frontend/backend developers, POs and PMs
• Fluent in English
• Very good skills in PHP (Symfony / Laravel) as well as practical experience in eCommerce environment with e.g. Shopware, Magento, Spryker or Commercetools
• You test/check your development and have experience to run the tests automatically with CI/CD jobs
• You love perfect, which makes you drive the foundations of our backend landscape in a sustainable way
