We are looking for a Data Science Engineer in our Data Science team to join us on this exciting journey!
As our Data Science Engineer at Prewave, you will…
- Analyze and understand our large variety of data using natural language processing
- Independently derives learnings, generates hypotheses and identifies optimization potentials
- Uses and develops machine learning technologies like Torch and Tensorflow
- Transfers and maintains developed solutions in a productive environment
- Manage, monitor and upgrade the performance and precision of your models
- Identify and integrate new data sources
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify business issues, develop analytical fixes and put into practise
Must haves
-
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields

3+ years of experience in a data science environment

Experience with NLP or other machine learning technologies

Good experience in working with Python or a JVM based language (Java, Scala, Kotlin,...)

Experience with machine learning techniques and tools like Torch or Tensorflow

Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Bonus points for

Master’s degree in a related field

Familiarity with Scala in software development environments

Understanding of cloud-based services, especially Google Cloud Platform or AWS

Knowledge of NoSQL database systems

Knowledge of agile software development techniques

An extensive compensation package
According to our collective agreement, the minimum salary for this role is EUR 2,854 gross per month, however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience. -
