As the Technology Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in building a strong risk culture within the Technology division at Luminor. Your role ensures the execution of robust governance, risk, and compliance practices aligned with the organization's risk culture KPIs and risk appetite. You will maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of technology-related regulations, manage regulatory communications, coordinate audit engagements, and provide support for regulatory changes.

What You Will Do:

  • Promote Risk Culture and Compliance Practices:
    • Lead by example to foster a strong risk culture within the Technology division.
    • Ensure the consistent execution of governance, risk, and compliance practices aligned with Luminor’s risk culture KPIs and risk appetite.
  • Regulatory Knowledge and Change Management:
    • Maintain comprehensive records of technology-related regulations and guidance.
    • Liaise with the 2nd line compliance team to assess, implement regulatory changes, and manage remediation activities.
  • Regulatory Communication and Coordination:
    • Manage technology-related regulatory communications and handle requests from entities such as the European Central Bank, Lithuanian Bank, Latvian Bank, and Estonian FSA.
    • Coordinate internal and external audit requests and engagements.
  • Oversight and Support for Regulatory Changes:
    • Oversee technology regulatory changes and support service owners in implementing necessary adjustments.
    • Maintain oversight of compliance, audit, and regulatory findings, and assist in remediation efforts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Training:
    • Foster collaboration and strong communication with key stakeholders across the three lines of defense.
    • Provide guidance and training to Technology Division staff on regulatory compliance best practices and procedures.

What We Expect:

  • 2-4 years of experience specifically in Technology Regulatory Compliance within the banking or financial industry, focusing on ICT (Information and Communication Technology), InfoSec (Information Security), and Data Management
  • Deep understanding of technology-related regulatory requirements, including but not limited to data protection laws, cybersecurity regulations, and industry-specific compliance standards
  • Proficiency in utilizing risk assessment tools and techniques tailored for regulatory compliance purposes and audits, with a strong emphasis on assessing technology, data, and cyber security risks
  • Strong understanding of ICT systems, technologies, processes and governance (ITIL)
  • Project management and coordination skills to effectively lead and support regulatory compliance initiatives, including coordinating cross-functional teams and managing regulatory compliance-related task
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication
