Head of Pricing and Packaging

The Head of Pricing and Packaging will lead global strategy and execution of pricing and packaging for Chainalysis. You'll partner closely with the executive team and stakeholders across the organization to define critical strategy that will help set the long-term direction of the business. Your responsibilities will include policy development and execution, owning the pricing strategy across different product types, structuring go-to-market packages and managing cross-functional stakeholder alignment.

This position requires strong capabilities in both strategy — thought leadership, analytical prowess, data-driven thinking, creativity — and execution — leadership and conviction, ability to build process and drive to outcomes, and caring deeply about results.

An ideal candidate is strategic, a self-starter, driven, adaptable, highly organized, analytical, and has experience in similar roles at other SaaS companies.

In this role, you’ll:

• Optimize product package structure by creating effective strategies & programs to increase customer acquisition and cross-sell/up-sell
• Build the framework for testing and measuring the effectiveness of our pricing and packaging decisions, to evolve and iterate on our strategy
• Collaborate with leaders in sales, marketing, product and other cross-functional organizations to craft new business models, define monetization strategies for new offerings, optimize packaging & pricing for existing solutions, and drive the vision for future GTM motions and supporting processes and systems
• Work on highly sophisticated problems, inform leaders on critical decisions and have influence on senior-level decision-making
• Leverage data to deliver proactive analysis and insights to back up recommendations and influence decisions
• Identify monetization opportunities by having your pulse on the business and industry as a whole

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• 10+ of experience in strategy consulting, product strategy, and/or pricing and packaging
• Demonstrated success in strategy development, monetization, business analysis, project management and problem solving
• Strong presence, executive communication and consensus building capabilities; demonstrated ability to thrive in an unstructured, collaborative environment
• Comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher level strategy
• Analytical rigor, the drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to diverse audiences
• Experience at and a deep understanding of SaaS business models and enterprise sales
• Strong leadership and excellent written / verbal communications to work with senior executives across various geographies and functions; comfort in business and technical discussions

While this role is remote-friendly, geographic proximity to our offices in Washington, D.C. or New York City is preferred.
