About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with data teams and the business team to drive valuable insight that contributes to the success of our products and game studios. You will make data-driven and well-researched recommendations for product roadmaps and corporate strategy. You will also proactively conduct market research and synthesize findings, analyzing new verticals and market entry points, and present to management. You will also explore ways to incorporate external data from other consumer products, both Web 3 and Web 2, with our internal data from game studios and product to create actionable insights for the management team.

Your main duties will involve working with the Product Strategy team, Games Publishing Team, and Business Development Team to drive business impact through data. You’ll have the opportunity to transform data into valuable business insights and help shape our strategy to deliver maximum impact to our customers, while also heavily influencing strategy, planning, and execution.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Write data-driven reports for multiple stakeholders that use both external and internal data to identify key trends and provide insights for our different business and product lines.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses on performance of games, sales, and token launches, and be able to make insightful recommendations for future launches.
• Translate business needs and requirements into data problems, and work with internal data teams to create actionable deliverables.
• Conduct market research, synthesize findings, and work with senior team members to propose recommendations that shape company and product strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of our peer and competitor positioning as well as the emerging crypto landscape to inform your recommendations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with complex data and business problems; ideally experience working in management consulting, venture capital, or blockchain consumer products.
• Strong understanding of how to work with blockchain data.
• Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills.
• Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills with various audiences and levels.
• Ability to work across time zones in a global manner - flexible schedule is a must.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize data and develop meaningful conclusions and predictive insights.
• Proficient with data scripting languages and proactively using this data to create recommendations for product direction.
• Experience and interest in gaming, consumer products, and blockchain overall a huge plus.
• Prioritize candidates based in Singapore, US.
