Software Developer

We are expanding our teams in Vilnius! We are looking for mid-junior Software Developer to join our Market Platforms Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to implement and improve in-house built high throughput, low latency application frameworks powering markets all around the globe.

Nasdaq Real-Time Clearing (NRTC):

Nasdaq Real-Time Clearing Technology helps clearing houses meet the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with integrated position keeping, real-time risk and collateral management, as well as settlement, across markets.

What will you be doing?

You will work within a highly skilled and expert product engineering team. You will belong to a multi-functional scrum team consisting of business analysts, software engineers, and test engineers. You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle, from design, implementation, and testing to release & deployment to supervising & solving to maintenance & enhancements. Your focus is to develop new features and enablers for a product with high quality, performance, and resiliency demands.

We work in close partnership with our clients all over the world. Developers do a wide range of activities: feature development (implement customer-specific requirements), non-functional enhancements (SLA implementation, cloud adaptation, etc.), and developer productivity improvements (template-driven code generation, model-driven code generation, Docker/Podman, etc.).

• Design and develop new complex functionality and maintain the existing codebase
• Write automated tests for functionalities (we aim for 100% test automation)
• Perform peer reviews, demos, and regression testing
• Contribute your experience and recommendations to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.

Who are we looking for?

• 2-5 years of work experience developing Java 11+, Dependency Injection, REST/SOAP Web Services
• SQL, GitLab, Maven, Object-Relational Mapping knowledge/experience
  Previous experience in the financial industry (banking, accounting, trading, clearing) would be a merit
