**About the team and the role:

TCGplayer connects hobbyists and hobby businesses to communities. We relentlessly improve the exchange of things and thoughts that fuel passions, providing the most compelling destination and tools for collectible card game enthusiasts and professional sellers! TCGplayer, now a part of eBay, promotes and drives growth of our products and services by connecting a global community of millions of buyers with tens of thousands of retailers in a $25B global collectible hobby market.

The Roca Robotics Team is a mixed team of engineering, production, and customer support people who design, build, and maintain automation and digitization hardware and software for sorting and managing collectibles. Roca’s current products, the Roca Sorter and Roca Sorter Max, can fully alphabetize Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Lorcana or YuGiOh cards in two hours. We champion a customer centric approach to design and strive to empower users to digitize their inventory for online sales.

**What you will accomplish:

  • Perform diverse and complex assignments in support of product development and manufacturing
  • Responsibilities including test equipment setup, hand assembly, basic testing, basic troubleshooting, reporting/documenting results of tests and assembly operations
  • Adjust and replace broken electronics and circuitry
  • Generate documentation related to testing and assembling electrical harnesses, PCB assemblies, and other assemblies as needed to support transition from prototype phase to final production operations
  • Design custom PCBs and work with external vendors to get them built
  • Debugging and root cause analysis of electrical systems

**What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role, working with soldering, cable assembly, and electrical circuits
  • Prior experience crafting comprehensive and detailed user documentation
  • Demonstrated ability with testing and troubleshooting electro mechanical systems
  • Fluency with the Linux operating system and/or command-line
  • Familiarity with trading cards is a plus
  • Experience working with 3d printers or robots is a plus
