Primary Objective

The Senior Director of Total Rewards - APAC is responsible for the business and human resources relationships in the APAC region in regards to Total Rewards matters. The Senior Director will maintain these relationships to identify regional business needs to support the attraction, retention, and motivation of the companyโ€™s talent to achieve business goals. As of March 2024, the company had ~6,200 team members in the region across 11 countries with concentrations in India, Philippines, and China.

The Senior Director will be a member of the global total rewards leadership council and report to the SVP, Total Rewards.

This leader will be a champion for partnership with the regional leaders to position the total rewards organization as a consultative organization. The leader must also have the ability to recommend solutions for regional needs that recognize the need for standardization in a global total rewards framework.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the APAC region in the total rewards council

  • Maintain regular contact with regional and country-level hr leadership to identify total rewards-related needs

  • Recommend solutions that drive business results and are administrative sustainable

  • Lead the benefits design / renewal process for the region

  • Provides guidance and oversight to management regarding existing and proposed statutory requirements governing the company's compensation administration and identifying statutory changes that impact the organization's effectiveness. Implements processes to ensure continued compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Consult with the total rewards council on the robustness of the market data used for the region

  • Oversees the development of ad-hoc analysis, reports, or special projects

Knowledge and Skill Required

  • Knowledge and understanding of Compensation.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Benefits.

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills

  • Proven ability to partner with COE Leaders and build relationships with Business Leadership

  • Hard-working, detail oriented and committed to producing great end results.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing work environment with many competing priorities.

  • Develops and drives accountability for self and others.

Experience

  • Relevant Experience developing and managing total rewards plans.

  • Typically Minimum of 10 years related professional experience including a minimum of 4 years experience in a managerial position with a large multinational organization.

  • Preferred: Prior Global Payments, payment or technology industry experience

  • Preferred: Experience with Workday HRIS.

  • Preferred: Merger and acquisition experience

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study from an accredited university is required.

  • Preferred: Master's Degree

  • Preferred: Related HR professional designation.

Physical Requirements

  • Position requires sitting at and working on a computer for long periods of time
