FWD New Business Model (NBM) evolves from the original eCommerce to Direct to Customers (DTC), OTO and Digital Partnership. Talent should be well versed on doing online business, with a strong sense of digital and partnership ecosystem, online selling platform build-up and upgrade, creatively design unique proposition and selling approach. The NBM is attached under ‘Direct Business’ in HK. The role is responsible to oversee HK NBM business, which plays a critical role to contribute to the Group NBM sales in total. We all aware of the market is under an exponential growth and fast moving in recent years. We want to well capture its potential, aiming to build FWD as a leading digital life insurer to change the way people feel about insurance.

The Job

• Define a clear business vision and specific strategy for FWD HK NBM including DTC, OTO and Digital Partnership. Lead a team consisting of eCommerce, Business Analytics, and Social/ Content to optimize surging business opportunities while focusing on people development
• Collaborate with key stakeholders at local and group levels, to uplift selling platform efficiency, drive continuous improvement on UX/ UI, automate customer end-to-end journey, etc
• Conduct integrated data tracking on sales, social, customer behaviour, etc. Synergize with CRM and Data & Analytics functions to design different campaigns for leads generation, customer acquisition, retention and cross selling
• Define a clear product strategy and roadmap. Refine product spec good for online selling and straight-through. Create differentiation and solid ground for continuous innovation approach
• Leverage multi-channel resources under Direct Business’ incl telemarketing, offline sales team, stakeholders companies, to facilitate online-to-offline and vice versa selling approaches.
• Take full accountability for NBM sales target, budget planning, profit & loss management. Manage external vendors and contracts, too.

The Person

• A strong leader and team builder with 10+ years of eCommerce, online broker, or digital marketing experience
• Proven track record on building and operating eCommerce platform to support B2C or B2B or B2B2C business
• Strong ownership and passion to drive business success
• Proficiency on managing senior stakeholders internally and externally
