What You Will Do

As a full-time Associate Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering solutions for our suite of online tutoring services at Lanterna. In this role, you will help coordinate and facilitate outstanding experiences for students and tutors worldwide. This involves the end-to-end delivery of our online IB tutor solutions for our global student base. This role comes with the potential for career and role progression.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Client Communication:

• Respond to inquiries from clients, students, and parents regarding tutoring services.
• Address concerns related to scheduling, billing, or other operational matters.

Resource Management:

• Ensure tutors have access to the necessary tools and resources for effective teaching.
• Continuously updating any resources as needed.

Quality Assurance:

• Monitor the quality of tutoring sessions and gather feedback from clients.
• Implement improvements or address issues related to the quality of tutoring services.

Problem Resolution:

• Address and resolve operational issues or challenges that arise during daily activities.
• Collaborate with other teams to find solutions to problems.

Compliance:

• Ensure tutors adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
• Stay informed about any changes in regulations related to tutoring services.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
• Implement changes to streamline operations and enhance the overall effectiveness of tutoring services.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent organisational and time management skills, along with keen attention to detail. We expect you to possess strong problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations effectively. Candidates with exceptional communication skills and a bias towards action will thrive in this role.

You will be in close contact with other team members, customers and a tutor base upwards of 700+ people throughout the role. Therefore, we seek someone with strong interpersonal skills who is positive, friendly, patient, and professional.

While 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is a plus, we're also excited to welcome recent graduates!
