Health and Safety Advisor - Forestry

About Us:

Juken New Zealand Ltd (JNL) is an international forest and wood products company operating in local and global timber markets. JNL owns three wood processing plants in the North Island, and forests in the Wairarapa and East Coast regions. We work closely with our parent company in Japan – WoodOne.

The Role:

We are now looking for an experienced and motivated forestry worker to take on a newly created Health and Safety Advisor – Forestry role based at either our Wairarapa Forestry Office (located in Masterton) or our East Coast Forestry Office (located in Gisborne). This is a full-time permanent position working a minimum of 40 hours per week.

The purpose of the H&S Advisor - Forestry is to support the management and continuous improvement of health and safety (H&S) practices in our forests and with our forest partners (i.e. contractors). You will also work closely with the Forestry Industry Safety Council (FISC) as JNL’s representative.

Remuneration:

$90-$100K + company car
