IT Infrastructure Analyst

The IT Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, servers, networks, and hardware.

As an IT Infrastructure Analyst you will

• Register technical events and service requests.

• Provide clarification on technical, operational, or administrative inquiries.

• Identify and handle technical support demands for software and hardware.

• Coordinate installation, upgrade, movement, correction, and configuration of software and hardware

• Monitor events to ensure adherence to service level agreements and resolution timelines.

• Escalate incidents and involve relevant stakeholders, including third-party providers, when SLAs are not met.

• Provide timely updates and estimates for user requests.

• Handle second-level access management requests.

• Maintain file folders on file servers.

• Create user accounts.

• Manage permissions in Windows, Linux, macOS, Active Directory, and Samba4 environments.

• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate level of support.

• Document solutions in the knowledge base for future reference.

Requirements

• Knowledge of infrastructure equipment (desktop, laptop, manageable switch,
• structured cabling)
• Proficiency in servers (Windows, Linux)
• Experience with virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Docker)
• Understanding of File Server, AD, DNS, GPO, Samba4 services
• Familiarity with Sonicwall, PFSense, and IpTables firewalls
• Knowledge of backup routines
• Proficiency in file versioning servers (Git, SVN, Perforce)
• Monitoring networks using Zabbix
• Analytical mindset to identify problems and find optimal solutions
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, IT)
• Native fluency in Portuguese (spoken and written)
• Intermediate level of English proficiency
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support roles
