JR57103 System Test Engineer

The SIG IATF Calibration Engineer will typically collaborate within a multi-site team of validation and quality engineers to acquire, manipulate, and analyze data signals. The Micron Signals Analyst will help determine parametric characterizations, functions, and applications of electronic tests and diagnostic routines. They perform intermediate and advanced interrogation analysis of device and tester parameters to prepare technical reporting. Statistical software tools and diagnostic and calibration data are typically used to assist with sampling in further understanding of trends within acceptance parameters.

As a SIG IATF Calibration Engineer at Micron, you will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, QRE, Product Engineering, and other areas to develop a best in class quality culture and drive improvements in Micron’s device and tester quality. You will be responsible for reducing variation and driving resolution to deviations in both partner site and local manufacturing areas. In addition, you will work with key team members to develop strategies for continuous improvement in product quality and process controls and provide support for customer related issues and activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in engineering data collection and analysis, failure analysis of calibration related testing, statistical study, database usage, process or product engineering and measurement system analysis (MSA) with drift analysis (preferred)
• Understanding of edge-to-edge timing, duty cycle, frequency, temperature, voltage and current accuracy, uncertainty, along with sources for error
• An in-depth understanding of process flows, controls and interactions, and how process changes and defect mechanisms can affect yield, performance, and reliability
• A solid understanding of statistical modeling and methodology
• Strong data analysis and data interpretation skills
• IATF 17025 and 16949 experience would be a benefit
• Good multi-tasking and effective problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience coordinating engineering efforts across many different project groups
• The ability to interpret and effectively resolve complex, technical or ambiguous requests and problems
• Experience with DMM’s, SMU’s, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, relay cards, programmable loads, power supplies, voltage and current measurement
• A good understanding of Micron’s Quality Policy

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree preferred:

• Electrical Engineering
• Physics
• Related field of study
