Position Summary:

Our development team is rapidly growing, and we need engineers who want to join a highly-driven team. We are looking for a Test Engineer who is focused on continually driving quality through advocacy, code, and any other necessary means.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute testing on all system components, including unit testing, and integration testing

- Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel

- Design and develop innovative solutions that solve tough challenges in the industry

- Maintain high quality of work products allocating resources to projects

- Manage multiple job duties through efficient task management

- Review weekly status reports and take necessary action to escalate test issues to Senior Management

- Make estimation for testing projects and enforce the adherence to the company’s quality processes and procedures

- Procure software testing tools for the organization

- Provide technical support to the testing team and continuously monitor the testing members

- Review test plans and test cases

- Attend meetings of projects and provide inputs from the tester’s perspective

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing operations (and related processes) across a portfolio of projects-

- Act as a technical point of contact for support of both internal and customer-facing applications

- Assist developers in problem solving and root cause analysis

- Perform backend testing and validate data through SQL queries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, I.T. or closely related field.
• Requires ability to create test cases and test plan for unit integration testing using Selenium testing software and ability to determine root cause analysis for incoming defects and testing tasks. Telecommuting permitted.

$82,000 - $89,000 a year

At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The US base salary range for this position is $82,000 - $89,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
