This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.

Reporting to the VP, Brand, the Senior Manager, Content Marketing will oversee a team of content, video and social media experts and will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of all content marketing initiatives that serve our go-to-market objectives.

Acting as the "editor-in-chief" of all branded content, this individual will play a critical role in defining our content vision and ensuring its alignment with our overall messaging and positioning in support of our corporate strategy. This includes overseeing the creation of thought leadership pieces, integrated campaign content, blog and resource center articles, research reports, customer stories, video series, podcast series and so much more.

We believe that content marketing is pivotal to our brand and demand efforts, helping us drive awareness, capture organic and paid demand, and build trust and reputational value with customers. As such, we are looking for a candidate who can elevate our content practice into a data-driven, audience-focused, outcome-based powerhouse.

In a typical day, you might:

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with key personas, quarterly demand objectives, and company messaging and positioning.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of external-facing content for integrated campaigns, including videos, social media, emails, paid promotions, and more.
  • Act as the final review and approver for all market-facing communications, ensuring voice and tone standards are maintained and providing feedback and guidance to contributors across the business.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Customer Success, Partnerships, Product Design, and Sales, to support their content needs and ensure consistency in messaging.
  • Work as a core voice and leader on the corporate brand team and help prioritize, plan and negotiate deliverables across the department where necessary work with creative team leadership to improve process and delivery.
  • Utilize project management tools like Jira or Wrike to manage multiple projects and content tracks efficiently.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience
  • Proven experience generating strong engagement through content marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social media, content trends, and performance outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and implement a cohesive content strategy.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.

The impact you'll have in 6 months:

Fullstory is undergoing an exciting evolution of its brand, including evolving audiences, positioning, and messaging, the infusion of AI and the quick release of new products and solutions. In the first six months, the Content Marketing Manager will need to quickly adapt to these changes, gain a deep understanding of our audiences and marketplace, and generate ideas for compelling content that can be published to build target audiences at scale. While a full-funnel mindset is critical this role and team are biased to awareness and top of funnel impact. Overall, this individual will be instrumental in driving our content vision forward and ensuring our content marketing efforts are impactful and aligned with our overall GTM strategy.
