We're looking for an experienced partnerships leader to manage the supply side relationships & growth strategy for our Marketplace offering within our fleet management SaaS product. Our Marketplace team operates as a startup within a Series C scale up, focused on driving GMV growth by facilitating a seamless experience that connects our fleet customers and with our Marketplace partners. This role will be a key contributor to Fleetio’s growth and requires someone who can leverage their industry knowledge to drive win / win / win expansion opportunities that benefit Fleetio, our Partners, and our Fleet Customers.

Who you are

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who brings a deep understanding of the operations & business model of national automotive service providers, and enjoys building collaborative relationships with their fleet program executives to ensure a seamless experience between the fleets and these service partners within our Marketplace application. This role will report to the VP of Partnerships.

Your impact

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Manage and expand relationships with Fleetio’s network of Marketplace partners.
  • Partnership Strategy Development: Establish Ideal Marketplace Partner Profile and prioritization framework to ensure focus on the highest opportunities.
  • Partner Success Playbook Development: Develop a scalable, productized Marketplace Partner success playbook – including training, onboarding, and enablement.
  • Product Support: Identify and champion product gaps, partner needs, partner support enhancements, and other insights to improve the Partner experience.
  • Performance Tracking: Lead quarterly business planning and performance tracking for priority Partners.
  • Expansion Opportunities: Drive win / win / win expansion opportunities that benefit Fleetio, Partners, and Fleets by leveraging a deep understanding of Partners’ business / operating models and Fleetio’s capabilities.
  • New Partner Sourcing: Source new Partners to expand Fleetio’s Marketplace coverage.
  • Onboarding Oversight: Oversee seamless onboarding experience for new Marketplace Partners.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work in close collaboration with the GM of Marketplace; the Director of Channel Partnerships; and the Director of Referral Partnerships.
  • Revenue Stream Innovation: Identify, test, and scale new Partner Revenue streams within the Marketplace.

Your experience

  • Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience in fleet managed maintenance programs and automotive retail (parts & service providers, specifically).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education, formal training, and related work experience.
  • Partnership Skills: Proven success in sourcing and negotiating highly collaborative partnerships.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work across diverse teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in dealing with the ambiguity and pace of working in a fast-paced startup-within-a-scaleup environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive Mindset: Proactive, hands-on mindset with solid time management skills and ability to manage products and meet deadlines.
  • Relationship building: Ability to establish and maintain a constructive, positive, and collaborative relationship with partners, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Technical proficiency: Highly proficient in computer skills, including Google Suite, Slack, CRM, and software/channel sales tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in managing B2B Marketplace partnerships
  • Deep understanding of fintech and/or SaaS
