Business Analyst

The Ownership QA team is responsible for all client related QA (Quality Assurance) and for defining and monitoring the execution of QC (Quality Control) by the Operations Team. Client issues are reviewed to help improve the collection, the methodology and the QC done on ownership data. The Ownership QA team collaborates with the engineering and product development teams to improve processes and participates with consultants in client calls when they need our expert input. The team is spread over all time-zones and is responsible for client request coverage 24 hours out of 24 hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage ad hoc projects for the ownership QA team and oversee QA related workflows.
• Analyze key quality issues & recommend initiatives for corrective action, and improvements on procedures (collection and QC). Instigates discussion with the TL and/or PS to ensure common understanding of errors identified.
• Training & coaching peers and QCA’s on your specialized area to help cross-training of the ownership team members (collection and QC).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• An excellent understanding of Financial Markets
• Project management skills to enhance procedures, tools & automation.
• Good analytical skills to evaluate the product/project requirement and troubleshoot errors.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both product owners and technical teams.
• Knowledge of FactSet’s products, workflows and processes
• Basics of SQL
• Some knowledge of FactSet’s Workstation applications
