As a Game Art Intern, you will work within our art team to create visual assets and bring the artistic vision of the game together. This unpaid internship provides you with a valuable platform to showcase your skills, learn from industry professionals, and gain practical insights into game development.

Responsibilities

• Produce game art assets in accordance with the game’s art direction and standards for art quality
• Create and maintain style guides and asset libraries to ensure consistency in the game's visual style
• Work closely with the creative director and development team to ensure that all assets are visually appealing, functional, and optimized for performance on mobile platforms
• Participate in art reviews, critiques, and brainstorming sessions with the art team to improve the game's overall quality

Requirements

We think that you …

• Can demonstrate experience developing games for a minimum of 2 years (including personal projects or academic work)
• Are skilled in Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop and Substance Painter
• Have basic proficiency with the Unity engine
• Have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team
• Is highly organized and capable of working independently
• Thrive in a startup environment, embracing both freedom and responsibility
• Are a caring team player with a positive attitude, eager to contribute to a close-knit startup environment with your energy and fresh ideas.
