As a frontend developer, you are responsible for developing design concepts for websites and web apps. Reporting to the Director of Digital Development, you will work with the development team to understand user needs, design wireframes and prototypes and iterate based on feedback to deliver exceptional user experiences including optimize the website performance to increase/maintain the web vital score of the website for Minor Hotel Group brands – Anantara.com, AvaniHotels.com, OaksHotelsResorts.com, TivoliHotels.com, World.NH-Hotels.com, and ElewanaCollection.com

  • Developing design concepts through to front end coding for website to align with the brand identity to make it user-friendly and visually appealing by focusing on user experience
  • Building prototypes and wireframes to visualize the design and layout of a product before full-scale development.
  • Collaborating closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented as intended.
  • Focus on usability, interaction design and design system thinking
  • Undertaking research activities on UX/UI trends and competitors to understand user needs, behaviors, and demographics.
  • Utilizing research insights to inform design decisions, ensuring they meet real user requirements.
  • Implementing various user testing methods, such as A/B testing, usability testing, and user interviews, to gather feedback on designs and website performance.
  • Using user feedback to iteratively improve and refine the product’s design and functionality.
  • Work with the team to align website performance metrics, particularly focusing on Core Web Vitals.
  • Implement an optimisation roadmap that formalises a process where frequent and data driven changes are implemented and tested.
  • Proactively find and test ways to improve website performance.
  • Stay on top of trends and new technologies that could help in delivering the optimisation roadmap.

Requirements

  • Thai National
  • 2+ years’ experience
  • A strong design portfolio (applications without portfolio will not be considered)
  • Strong understanding of UX
  • Understanding of HTML and web technologies are essential
  • Working knowledge of standard graphic tools e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Good communication skills including ability to convey creative concepts and rationale to other team members
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, organized and accountable
