About the Job:

As a Solutions Architect, you will join our technology team and play a vital role in delivering architecture-focused solutions to our clients. You will be proficient in designing and implementing software architecture, using industry-standard architecture tools. You’ll work with our clients and internal teams to define architecture standards, practices, and common models. You’ll play a key part in driving the Technology and Architecture practice forward, providing thought leadership and support to others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement architecture that meets the business needs.
• Conduct business workshops to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Define and implement architecture standards, practices, and common models.
• Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of architecture solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and support in IT architecture.
• Experience designing, building, migrating, refactoring, or operating impactful IT systems - either on premises or in the cloud.
• Experience working in a customer-facing role.

Requirements:

• Ability to define architecture standards, models, practices, and common models.
• Proficiency in various architecture frameworks and the ability to synthesise complex architecture problems into logical models and physical solutions.
• Knowledge across a range of existing and modern technologies including, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), on-premise application hosting & infrastructure.
• In-depth working knowledge in a technology domain such as distributed internet-scale web or mobile applications, DevOps, Serverless, Big Data, Analytics, Machine Learning, enterprise workloads (SAP, VMware, Windows etc.), high-performance databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), complex networking implementations, highly secured workloads etc.
• Familiarity with a variety of architecture approaches, tools, and model repositories (such as Visio, Lucid Chart, LeanIX, Ardoq, SparxEA)
• Working knowledge of a modern Cloud Native database and integration technologies.
• Working knowledge or TOGAF, Agile or Scaled Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent complex ideas graphically.
• Valid Certifications in Azure and/or AWS, and other industry certifications.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience working with a technology consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
• Working knowledge of one or more business platforms such as ERP, CRM, HR, Payroll
• Knowledge of a modern programming languages and/or scripting, Infrastructure as Code
• Demonstrable experience in delivering strategy and design in support of the EA role
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in the public sector.
• Experience with public speaking
