Following the recent acquisition of Stanley Security, we are on a mission to become the world’s leading Security & Safety company. To help us get there, Securitas Technology is looking to further strengthen its Belgian and Netherlands businesses with a high caliber Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

Reporting jointly to the Country General Managers for Belgium and the Netherlands, the HR BP will be responsible for implementing the People strategy through all aspects of the employee lifecycle. As a Management Team member, the role acts as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders in addition to partnering closely with the local Securitas Services and Technology Human Resources teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with local leadership and the wider HR teams to understand and deliver the organisations goals and people strategy.
  • Builds strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business with integrity and discretion.
  • Working with the HR Shared Service, Implement policies, procedures, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organisations HR compliance and strategy needs.
  • Works closely with people leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Partner with the HR Shared Service to resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Takes ownership for human resource strategy such as compensation and benefits, performance and talent management, reward and recognition, training, and development.
  • Leads by example and with integrity while upholding the company values.
  • Builds relationships within country HR teams and leaders.
  • Collaborates with HR shared service, finance, and other support functions.
  • Maintains knowledge of best practice, regulatory changes, and legislative precedence to support decision making.

  • Develop leadership and people management skills of business leadership.
  • Coaching, sparring, and discussing people, business, and organisational challenges with senior leadership.

Experience and Traits

Minimum Required

  • EU citizen or valid work permit.
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent HR Management qualification.
  • 5 years progressive human resources experience.
  • Fluent Dutch and English skills both orally and written.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Digitally literate and data driven.
  • People focussed and client centric.

Desirable

  • French language skills.
  • Experience in a technology environment &/or electronic security industry.
  • Understanding of operating in an international role.
  • Knowledge of local area needs.
